Euky Bearub Review + Blessing Giveaway

Euky Bearub Review

I'm so blessed to received a sample of Euky Bearub from Koofty Enterprise for testing and review. To be honest, chest rub is not part of our baby essentials. We used to have a vapor rub but we don't use it for the kids. My kids have a very sensitive skin and I am not confident on using it to them. I was reluctant to try this at first but upon checking the label and seeing that it is gentle on most sensitive skin, I felt assured.
Euky Bearub
Euky Bearub, 50grams, Php 400

  • It provides therapeutic vapours which help clear a stuffy nose, soothes the throat and eases coughs.
  • It helps breathe easier and sleep better.
  • It relieves muscular pains and aches.
  • It can be used as a soothing balm for minor insect bites.
  • It can be used as an inhalant for steam therapy.
  • Mid-strength - stronger than ‘baby’ chest rubs but still very gentle on most sensitive skin
  • Non-greasy and readily absorbed into skin
  • Comes in a handy tube - No messy ointment pots or grease under fingernails; just squeeze the right amount from tube

Euky Bearub

  • Suitable for kids (age 2+) and adults.
  • Below the age of 24 months, Euky Bearub can be used by putting onto a tissue and placing it near the head of the bed or cot.  Although Euky Bearub is a gentle formula, as a precaution we advise not to use directly on baby’s skin unless on the advice of your health professional.
  • Safe to use in pregnancy and breastfeeding

Euky Bearub
Eucalyptus oil, Eucalyptol, Menthol, Camphor and Rosemary oil.

I like that this rub is all-natural and gentle on my kids' sensitive skin. No skin irritation so far. The tube packaging is very neat - no mess! You can easily slip it into your bag if you are on the go.

When my little one was complaining recently about a tummy ache in wee hours, I was grateful to have Euky Bearub available. I massage it gently on his aching stomach and when he was relieved, he went back to sleep. There was another instance (also in wee hours) where he was coughing hard. I rushed to get the rub and massage it on his throat and chest, and it has worked wonders. It is also good on insect bites. Now, everytime my little one has an insect bite, he will ask me to put him "bearub". I don't regret trying this product and I'm so happy to have it as part of our baby kit. I think every Mom should have this on their list.

Our friends from Koofty Enterprise, the distributor of Euky Bear products were so generous to give a tube of Euky Bearub to two (2) of my readers! Simply follow the steps below:

Hobbes and Landes: All Around the World in 10 Days

Hobbes and Landes

Last March 11, we were invited for a free trial art class in Hobbes and Landes, Bonifacio High Street. We attended the All Around the World in 10 Days.

Hobbes & Landes was born out of love for board games. It began with a small specialty store in July 2002 by the Pesengco and Sun Families.

They aim to be the place and destination for families of all ages who love nothing more than simply gathering together for wholesome fun over a good cup of coffee and great dessert. They strive to promote the lifestyle and values of learning, caring, relationship-building and inspiration through fun and discovery.

With gratitude to God, hardworking staff and loyal customers, they have now grown into a chain of 9 specialty lifestyle stores, 7 company owned and 2 under trademark and concept license. The flagship store is located at Bonifacio High Street in Fort Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.

The workshop was held in one corner of the store. We were packed during that time but my kids don't seem to bother. They were excited! While waiting, they were provided with colored pens for free drawing. My little one was also encouraged to draw.

They started the class with a quick review on different continents before they tackled Africa, this day's  focus country.

Here are some fun facts discussed:

  • Africa is the world’s second-largest continent
  • The longest river in the world is found in Africa, Nile River
  • Africans wear masks for rituals and ceremonies

Each kid was given a bare mask. They were to make their own designs, thru patterns and shapes. Then, they colored it using paints

The workshop lasted more than one hour and although it was a quick class, Gabi said he enjoyed it. Everyone was able to come up with their own unique designs.

Is it Safe to Breastfeed when Pregnant?

This is a sponsored post.

Is it Safe to Breastfeed when Pregnant?

Many moms get pregnant while still breastfeeding. This happens for several reasons. Sometimes, couples want their children to be close when it comes to their age so they decide to get pregnant again when the baby is a bit older. Others have unexpected pregnancy but gladly take it as a blessing while the mother still breastfeeds her toddler.

Whatever the reason is, breastfeeding while pregnant is perfectly fine. There are myths that say breastfeeding while pregnant isn’t safe and can cause the mother at risk of miscarriage – there is no medical evidence for that. However, moms may experience a little challenge while breastfeeding during pregnancy such as nipple sensitivity during the early pregnancy, which can cause sensitivity while breastfeeding.

When you plan to continue to breastfeed while pregnant, remember that you have to work on your diet to make sure your body produces the nutrients that both your toddler and your unborn baby need since you’re now caring for three. It is important to stay hydrated by drinking 8-12 glasses a day.

Doctors say that when a woman is pregnant, her milk taste changes due to the production of colostrum. This can either make the toddler like your milk even more or the complete opposite that will lead your toddler to wean from breastfeeding on his own.

If you are uncertain of what to do, it is still best to talk to your doctor about it.

World Vision Launches Caring for Communities Program

World Vision Launches Caring for Communities

International child-focused organization World Vision recently launched its newest initiative for sustainable community development in the Philippines - Caring for Communities.

Caring for Communities is a recurring gift program that allows donors to contribute to a cause that is most meaningful to them and the community that they support.

The program is focused on funding World Vision’s Economic Development, Child Protection, and Disaster Preparedness programs. The three programs represent three tiers of monthly recurring donations.

Building sustainable livelihoods

World Vision Launches Caring for Communities

For at least 500 pesos a month, donors can help families increase their capacity to provide the basic needs of their children.

Through various economic development programs, World Vision aims to increase the productivity on agri-fishery through natural farming methods, link small businesses to markets, provide skills training for employment or entrepreneurship to parents and youth, and give parents and caregivers access to basic savings and credit services to reduce shocks from financial distress.

Keeping children safe

World Vision Launches Caring for Communities

If donors choose to donate a minimum of 400 pesos a month, they will be able to empower communities to prevent and respond to violence affecting children by strengthening child protection mechanisms.

Programs under this tier help increase children's knowledge about their basic rights and responsibilities, provide opportunities for children to be involved in their local communities' child protection councils, increase the awareness of teachers, parents, and local community leaders on important child protection issues, and orient and train children and community leaders on child protection laws and how to handle child protection cases.

Preparing for disaster

World Vision Launches Caring for Communities

Equally important and highly relevant to the Philippine terrain is World Vision’s disaster risk reduction programs. For as low as 300 pesos a month, donors will be able to help reduce the impact of natural disasters and improve the resilience of the communities affected.
World Vision’s disaster risk reduction programs aims to help schools and communities establish child-focused disaster risk reduction measures, identify and establish functional early warning systems in communities, strengthen the capacity of community members to prevent, mitigate, and prepare for the negative impacts of hazards, and immediately provide life-saving assistance to the most vulnerable during disasters.

Sixty years and beyond

This 2017, as World Vision celebrates 60 years of caring for children and building sustainable communities, the organization strives to give individuals more opportunities to help and share their blessings through the Caring for Communities program.

With more donors and partners, World Vision is drawn closer to its goal of reaching 3 Million children by 2020.
