ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Eve, from Cavite. I'm married to a wonderful and loving husband, Romel. God has blessed us with two amazing boys, Gabi and Gael and currently expecting baby # 3! We are a Charlotte Mason homeschooling family and servants of God.

This blog is the online account of my trials and triumphs as a WIFE, MOM, and HOMESCHOOLER. This is my own space where I share my faith, marriage lessons, parenting choices, homeschool experiences and pretty much everything about our life moments.

ABOUT THE SITE

What is Qarah?
“I returned and saw under the sun that-- The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.” ~ Ecclesiastes 9:11 (NKJV)

The word “happen” found in this verse is the Hebrew word, “Qarah”. It simply means…

BDB Definition: (verb) to encounter, meet, befall, happen, come to meet

What is Qarah Moment?

So, “Qarah Moments” is directed by God as divinely interrupted moments in one’s life. Where God is directing our steps & purposefully causing certain events, places, and people to cross our path.

In this life, there's no accident or product of chance! Everything that's happening in our lives, whether good or bad is orchestrated by God.

There may be times we missed the mark. We make decisions that are not aligned with His will, resulting in negative consequences. But this doesn't mean that He is into punishing us. Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. He has all the power to turn around every bad circumstance into good, test into testimonies, mess into a message for His purpose and glory.

He is the one that causes to bring “Qarah Moments” in our lives..
