ABOUT ME

I am Evelyn Marfa, God's workmanship, an empty vessel fit for filling and for His use. I am married to a wonderful and loving husband, Romel. God has blessed us with two amazing kids, Gabi and Gael. We are a homeschooling family and we love the Lord.

I've been reading blogs for quiet sometime and it is amazing how it can impact a person's life. Then I thought of having my own blog site. I’m not a good writer to be honest, but I have a desire to share to others what God has done, is doing and will do in our lives. So, encouraged by a friend, I started this page.

In this blog site, I’ll be sharing to you my faith, marriage lessons, parenting choices, homeschooling experiences and pretty much everything about our life with God. We pray that you will be blessed and inspired from what i will share.

"Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you." So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. ~ Luke 8:39

ABOUT THE SITE

What is Qarah?

“I returned and saw under the sun that-- The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all.” ~ Ecclesiastes 9:11 (NKJV)

The word “Happen” found in this verse is the Hebrew word, “Qarah”. It simply means…BDB Definition: (Verb) to encounter, meet, befall, happen, and/or to come to meet.

What is Qarah Moment?

So “Qarah Moments” are directed by God as divinely interrupted moments in one’s life. Where God is directing our steps & purposefully causing certain events, places, and people to cross our path.

In this life, there's no accident or product of chance! Everything that's happening in our lives has meaning and purpose. God in His perfect being orchestrated everything in His majestic way.

There may be times that we missed the mark. We make decisions that are not aligned to His will, resulting into negative consequences. But this doesn't mean that He is into punishing us. Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. He has all the power to turn around every bad thing into good thing, test into testimonies, mess into a message for His purpose.

He is the one that causes to bring “Qarah Moments” in our lives..
